María de San José
works as an Ambulatory Surgery
Centre; ambulatory surgery is
defined as the service given to
non-hospitalized patients on
which anesthesia may be general,
regional, or local. As well,
time under observation is less
than twelve (12) hours. Whereas
a Surgery Centre with short term
hospitalization only applies to
clinics that behold observation
terms over the twelve (12) hours
and require a hospitalization
time longer than a day. This
means that 97% of surgeries
realized in our centre may be
applied under this modality,
such as: vesicle,
appendicectomy, prostatectomy,
mastectomy, etc. |
